What is the National Orthodox Baby Shower?
The National Orthodox Baby Showeris a nationally-coordinated diaper/baby item drive to support women in our communities and help them choose life by partnering with local pregnancy resource centers.
The Baby Shower takes place during the months of March & April to coincide with the Feast of the Annunciation, with items being collected on the Sundays before and after Annunciation (March 25).
What are pregnancy resource centers (PRC's)?
PRC's are nonprofit organizations that exist all over the country to provide medical, educational, material, and support services to countless abortion-vulnerable women and men every year, helping them to choose life.
In 2022, 2,750 PRC's served nearly 16 million people, providing an estimated value of $367.9 million in services and pregnancy items. These centers typically provide services at no charge, and only exist through the support of their local communities.
Many PRC's have limited hours or resources due to financial constraints, and they need our help.

Every March, we coordinate the annual National Orthodox Baby Shower!
Your parish is invited to participate in this national effort to support women in crisis pregnancies and help them choose life for their children, coinciding with the celebration of the Feast of the Annunciation.
